For me, only a thin line distinguishes an object of beauty with a domestic
use from one created solely as a work of art. If anything, it is what
gets handled and used every day that warrants the good design and that
at its best generates aesthetic pleasure. Why not also lavish attention
on the production of these very things that contribute to our quality
of life?
